New Affiliation with
Kansas Health Science Center

Part of TCS’ founding vision was to focus on the most fundamental areas of human need—psychology, education, legal representation, and health care—both physical and mental. Included in the founding documents was a white paper focused on the development of a medical school.

Ten years later, we identified a start-up nonprofit organization in Wichita, Kansas, that shared the vision of developing a new osteopathic medical school: Kansas Health Science Center (KHSC). After due diligence and planning, the TCS Board of Trustees voted unanimously at its May 2019 meeting to affiliate with KHSC. KHSC’s Board of Trustees then appointed Tiffany Masson, Psy.D., as president. KHSC is the sixth affiliate for TCS.

Through collaboration with our existing partners and community members in Kansas, KHSC will be an institution that contributes to the revitalization of downtown Wichita while serving its community.

TCS and our partner institutions share the mission to positively impact the communities in which we are embedded. In Wichita, we are excited to be a part of the revitalization of downtown and to make meaningful connections in the community.
— President Michael Horowitz, Ph.D.
